The Office of Educational Technology at the New Hampshire Department of Education is delighted to continue its collaboration with Thinkfinity (formerly known as the MarcoPolo program.)

Thinkfinity is a partnership between the Verizon Foundation and leading educational organizations. Their objective is to provide the highest quality content and professional development to K-12 teachers and students throughout the United States.

What is Thinkfinity?

Thinkfinity is the cornerstone of Verizon Foundation's Literacy, Education and Technology initiatives. This free, comprehensive digital learning platform is built upon the merger of two highly-acclaimed programs well-known to educators Verizon MarcoPolo and the Thinkfinity Literacy Network. Thinkfinity is designed to improve learning in traditional settings and beyond the classroom by providing high-caliber content and professional development needed to improve student achievement anytime, anywhere, at no cost.

Educational Resources

Thinkfinity contains more than 55,000 authoritative educational and literacy resources for teachers, students and community programs including standards-based K-12 lesson plans, student materials, interactive tools and web sites. Thinkfinity also includes best-in-class evidence-based literacy resources such as the Life Span Literacy Matrix from the Verizon Literacy Network.

Thinkfinity has developed a powerful search engine that allows educators to search Thinkfinity content based on several factors, such as grade level, discipline, and key word.

Professional Development

A comprehensive professional development program prepares educators to incorporate Thinkfinity's rich resources into their instructional settings for maximum impact. A rollout network of select state and national education and literacy organizations ensures the broadest possible reach for these valuable resources and services.

Our Vision for the Future

Thinkfinity will continue to provide an ever-growing collection of high-quality, non-commercial educational and literacy resources and continue to evolve our robust professional development program, with a focus on best practices for student and teacher achievement. Verizon Foundation will continue to utilize emerging technologies and communication tools to provide universal access to Thinkfinity's learning opportunities for all, regardless of ability, gender, age, race, income or location.
