- On August 1, 1999, a new teacher
certification area for Computer Technology Educator became
effective. You can view

about them.
- The NHDOE Certification Task
Force is currently working on revision of the general and professional
education standards for all teachers. New standards will include
references to technology use. For information about national
standards in technology for teacher preparation, visit the NETS project
area of the ISTE web site.
- There are new requirements for
school district professional development master plans and re-certification
of teachers. Technology integration is included as one of the
7 major professional development components of master plans.
