Don Knezek, CEO of ISTE
Don is both the CEO of the International Society for Technology in Education (ISTE) and also Co-Director of a PT3 Catalyst project (the National Center for Preparing Tomorrow's Teachers to Use Technology). He will present in Nashua North in the morning, with a more informal conversation in Hanover in the afternoon. Visit the Project New Teachers website for information about New Hampshire's PT3 catalyst project. One of the results of this project is the creation of the New Hampshire Learning Interchange (NHLI). Level of Technology Implementation (LoTI) Survey - What's Next, Christopher Moersch and Dan Cherry
Chris and Dan will discuss the LOTI: Level of Technology Implementation Survey used across NH, along with the LoTI State Report for New Hampshire in 2001-02, the first year this survey was used in our state. Great Content, Great Support, Great Training: Discover NHEON and MarcoPolo, Dot Grazier and Cathy Higgins
Dot and Cathy will talk about MarcoPolo program and the NH Educators Online (NHEON) portal. They will review the resources available through the MarcoPolo web site, the integration of MarcoPolo resources with NH curriculum frameworks, as well as the training options available from the MarcoPolo Foundation.
Downloadable versions of the NH Curriculum Frameworks and references to technology within the curriculum standards are available on NHEON, as Word and PDF documents.
Also available is information about teacher standards, including certification competencies for Computer Technology Educator.

Hot Topics: Ed Tech Initiatives at the NHDOE, Cathy Higgins, Dan Cherry, and Jan McLaughlin
Cathy, Dan, and Jan will talk about the various ed tech initiatives that the NHDOE is currently supporting, as well as future possibilities.
