and Qualified: New Roles, New Resources, and New Results through Technology Don is both the CEO of the International Society for Technology in Education (ISTE) and also Co-Director of a PT3 Catalyst project (the National Center for Preparing Tomorrow's Teachers to Use Technology). He will present in Nashua North in the morning, with a more informal conversation in Hanover in the afternoon. Visit the Project New Teachers website for information about New Hampshire's PT3 catalyst project. One of the results of this project is the creation of the New Hampshire Learning Interchange (NHLI). Great Content, Great Support, Great Training: Discover NHEON and MarcoPolo, Dot Grazier and Cathy Higgins Dot and Cathy will talk about MarcoPolo program and the NH Educators Online (NHEON) portal. They will review the resources available through the MarcoPolo web site, the integration of MarcoPolo resources with NH curriculum frameworks, as well as the training options available from the MarcoPolo Foundation. Downloadable versions of the NH Curriculum Frameworks and references to technology within the curriculum standards are available on NHEON, as Word and PDF documents. Also available is information about teacher standards, including certification competencies for Computer Technology Educator. |
