====================================== NCLB Title II-D Formula Application for Round 4 ======================================
The application for districts to apply for the 4th round of NCLB Title II-D formula funding has been posted to the web. PLEASE NOTE that the list of allocations by district contained in this application packet is a PRELIMINARY list. The final allocations will be posted by early July.
Districts will also note that there is about a 29% decrease in their allocations from the previous year, due to federal budget cuts to this program.
Some of you have asked about future budget cuts. Please refer to the information in the April 12, 2005 issue of ETNews for websites that will have more information about this. (See also ETAN info below).

Educational support centers have begun distributing information about the LoTi Certified Mentor Training Program. Please be sure teachers, tech coordinators, library media specialists, and other interested educators know about this great opportunity for further training in differentiating instruction and how technology plays a role. The program includes a 3 day training institute (choose consecutive days in the summer or non-consecutive days in the fall), plus some great ISTE books, and additional online and face to face support to implement a strong program in your school or district. Space is limited, so hurry and contact your nearest PD center if you’re interested!
