====================================== E-RATE for PLAIN OLD TELEPHONE SERVICE (POTS) ====================================== http://www.sl.universalservice.org/menu.asp
The NHDOE Office of Educational Technology has posted a form 470 on the Schools and Libraries Division website to enable all NH school districts to apply for Plain Old Telephone Service (POTS) in the E-Rate program. This relieves the burden upon individual districts for posting their own form 470 for these services. Each district will be responsible for submitting a form 471 (see link above) to apply for the discount on the telephone services they receive. For help completing the application forms, check out some examples provided by the South Central Educational Support Center at http://www.esc-scnh.net/erate.htm

====================================== STATE CONTRACTS for SOFTWARE and more ====================================== http://www.shi.com/newhampshire/
Jenny Harrison of Software
House International (SHI) provides the following: “A Select contract is
the highest discount that Microsoft offers on perpetual licenses (licenses
that are owned outright). The State signed this contract with Microsoft
and SHI over the summer and it expires in May of 2006. Additionally,
Microsoft also offers a program called a School Agreement -- this is
basically a subscription service where for a heavily discounted cost
schools can lease the newest versions of MS software for their entire
school or district -- allowing them to budget one lump some to be paid on
a yearly basis. With this program they also get all of the media
(installation CDs) for free. Any school or district who is interested can
call me for a quote.”
