SPECIAL INTEREST
GROUP
---------------------------------------------
YOU ARE INVITED! The following comes from Danielle
Bolduc:
“I am currently the president-elect of NHSTE (New
Hampshire Affiliate of the International Society for Technology in Education)
and one of my goals this year is to develop a special interest group of people
who are responsible for integrating technology into the curriculum and/or teach
technology skills. NHSTE is dedicated to
helping facilitate this special interest group by providing a place for us to
meet, food, and other possible resources such as a listserv. (You do not need to be a NHSTE member to
attend, although we are a really cool bunch of people.) I see this as an opportunity to increase
skills, knowledge and network with colleagues in your career field while gaining
professional development hours as well. Topics can include: Staff Development
Training, Student Project Ideas, Building a Special Interest Group. Come enjoy some pizza, meet new people, and
bring an idea that works for you in your school or NOT. (no
pressure) Looking for more details about
this? Contact Danielle Bolduc at dbolduc@orcsd.org.

Knowledge Loom: GMOTT
NEIRTEC Presents a Knowledge Loom Spotlight on Good
Models of Teaching with Technology (GMOTT):
http://knowledgeloom.org/gmott
“The
Knowledge Loom has launched a Spotlight on Good Models of Teaching with
Technology (GMOTT). The content is
provided by NEIRTEC (the Northeast and Islands Regional Technology in Education
Consortium), drawn from face-to-face and online workshops offered across the
NEIRTEC region. Now, educators have online access to selected content from
these professional development activities. Also in this Spotlight, NEIRTEC
provides additional resources for enhancing the use of education technology to
improve student learning, such as: success stories from across the country,
policy links, and interactive tools. Educators are invited to share their own
success stories, use the Spotlight to engage in dialogue with other educators,
and participate in panel discussions.”
